Scores of women and children joined a silent protest this morning in the besieged city of Daraya

Scores of women and children joined a silent protest this morning in the besieged city of Daraya, southwest of Damascus, to highlight their suffering. The city has been under siege for four years, and is under constant bombardment.
Government forces have not permitted any food or medical aid to reach the 8300 civilians living under siege, while pounding them with scores of barrel bombs on a daily basis.
The citizens of Daraya demand the immediate delivery of humanitarian assistance and the cessation of all attacks and indiscriminate use of weapons against civilians, as stipulated by UNSC resolution 2254.
